Interior CGI for an Ultra-Luxury Hotel Lobby in Dubai

Charles Roberts Studios produced interior CGI for the main lobby of an ultra-luxury hotel development in Dubai, a grand double-height space intended to set the tone for the whole hotel from the moment guests arrive. The imagery was used for design development, stakeholder presentations and marketing, ahead of construction.
The architecture combines classical proportions with contemporary detailing: high ceilings, symmetrical wall panelling and a balanced layout of seating areas. The CGI is composed to draw the eye through the space, from the foreground seating towards a grand archway beyond, giving a clear sense of the lobby's depth and height rather than just its finishes.
A chandelier as the focal point
At the centre of the composition is a sculptural chandelier, a cascading arrangement of metallic branches and light fittings, with particular attention paid to how light plays across its materials. Wall sconces, table lamps and daylight through the tall windows build a layered lighting scheme around it, keeping the space feeling warm rather than staged.
Large-format stone floor tiles in a geometric pattern, panelled walls and a mix of upholstered chairs, tailored sofas and bespoke side tables carry a restrained, neutral palette throughout, with smaller seating groupings used to break the lobby's scale down into more intimate areas.
The CGI gave the design team and client a clear view of the lobby's proportions, lighting and materials before construction, and continues to be used in marketing to investors, operators and future guests.
