Interior Design Visualisations for Coworth Park, Ascot

Charles Roberts Studios produced interior design visualisations for suites at Coworth Park, the Dorchester Collection country house hotel in Ascot. The images were created to show the interior designer's vision to the client before the rooms were built, and the finished suites can now be seen on the hotel's website.

The scheme draws on the surrounding countryside. A hand-drawn meadow wallpaper fades from gold at the top of the wall to soft grasses at the base, and curtains carry a matching pattern. In one bedroom a sculptural iron four-poster, with branches and leaves worked into the frame, stands against this backdrop. A marble fireplace with a plaster relief of wheat stems sits beyond it, with an armchair and a velvet sofa grouped around a glass-topped coffee table. Petal-shaped lights carry the botanical theme through the ceilings and walls.

The bathroom keeps to the same language. A twin-basin vanity in blush fluted timber has a patterned marble top, a brass-framed mirror and petal wall lights. A copper-finished freestanding bath sits in front of a cast panel of wild grasses and wheat, with a marble-framed shower alongside. A second bedroom takes a softer, blush palette, with a slimmer four-poster, a rust velvet sofa, framed artwork and a dressing table, and full-height windows open onto the garden.

Materials, lighting and furniture were developed in detail so the client could judge the scheme as a finished room, not only as a mood board.
