Interior CGI for a Premium Serviced Office, Edinburgh's New Town

Charles Roberts Studios produced a series of interior CGI visuals for a premium serviced office and meeting space development in Edinburgh's New Town. The brief was to show how the building's Georgian proportions — high ceilings, tall sash windows, panelled walls — could work alongside a contemporary interior scheme, ahead of the space being marketed to tenants.

The design keeps the room's original proportions and detailing while introducing a contemporary material palette: muted wall tones, a patterned carpet, clean-lined desks and ergonomic seating. Long shared desks and break-out areas reflect a flexible way of working, built around both collaboration and focused, individual use.

Lighting was a key part of the CGI. Sculptural pendant fittings sit above the shared desks, individual task lighting covers each workstation, and wall sconces pick out the perimeter panelling and cornicing. Combined with the natural daylight from the sash windows, this gives the space a warmth that a flat daytime render wouldn't carry on its own.

Woven upholstery, natural wood finishes and the sheen of painted panelling were all rendered in detail, so the space reads as considered and real rather than a generic office visual.

The imagery was produced to support pre-letting marketing — giving prospective tenants and investors a clear sense of layout, finish and atmosphere before the office is complete.
