Exterior CGI

Photorealistic exterior CGI for new homes, country houses, barn conversions and residential developments, for planning, marketing and off-plan sales.

Exterior CGI shows a building as it will look once complete, in its real setting, before work starts on site. We build each scheme accurately from the architect's drawings, then light and landscape it so that planners, buyers and investors can judge the design on how it will actually look.

Exterior CGI for Country Houses and Estates

A large part of our work is for private houses and rural estates, where the setting matters as much as the building. At the Great Tew Estate in the Cotswolds, we produced aerial and eye-level CGI for new homes and barn conversions across the estate. At Benham Park and Spearbed Copse, the imagery showed new country houses within their gardens, landscape and wider views. For projects like these, the approach, the planting and the relationship to the surrounding countryside are as important as the elevations.

Barn Conversions and Listed Buildings

Converting agricultural or historic buildings needs imagery that respects what is already there. Our barn conversion CGI, including the barns at Cliveden, shows how new glazing, materials and landscaping will sit alongside the original structure. For sensitive sites, we can combine CGI with photography of the existing buildings in an interactive before-and-after slider, CRS Reveal, so the change is clear at a glance.

New Homes and Residential Developments

For housing schemes, exterior CGI is usually the main marketing material long before a show home exists. We produce street scenes, individual house types and aerial views that explain a whole site. Recent examples include rural housing at Felsted, aerial masterplan views at Dulwich Village and mews housing at The Old Coach Yard in Lymington. The same model can then produce brochure images, hoarding graphics and a walkthrough animation.

Aerial Views and Site Context

An aerial CGI shows what a site plan can't: how a development relates to its roads, neighbours and landscape. We model the surrounding context from survey information and mapping, so the view is accurate enough for planning submissions as well as marketing. Aerial imagery is particularly useful for estates, larger residential schemes and redevelopment sites.

Supporting Planning Applications

Exterior CGI helps planning officers, committees and neighbours understand a proposal. We can produce accurate views from agreed positions, including verified views where they're required, and before-and-after comparisons showing the existing site next to the proposal. Visualisation supports an application rather than guaranteeing approval, but a clear, honest image often answers questions that drawings leave open.

Evening Views, Seasons and Alternatives

Because the building exists as a 3D model, we can show it at dusk with the lights on, in different seasons, or with alternative materials and landscaping. That makes it straightforward to compare options during design, or to produce a set of marketing images from one model.
