Interior CGI and Walkthrough for a London Mews House

Charles Roberts Studios produced a series of interior CGI stills and a walkthrough for a London mews house renovation, covering the main living, dining and kitchen space. The brief was to visualise the interior designer's scheme for turning a traditional mews house into a more contemporary home, while keeping its original character intact.

The open-plan layout ties the kitchen, dining and living areas together, and the CGI follows that continuity, with herringbone timber flooring, panelled joinery and a dark, polished dining table running through the connected spaces. Dark timber joinery is set against pale walls, with brass fixtures, a marble fireplace surround and glass-fronted display cabinetry adding texture without overworking the palette.

Lighting was modelled to reflect how the rooms would actually be used day to day: pendant fixtures and wall sconces for the evening, balanced against cooler daylight through the windows during the day.

Alongside the stills, a walkthrough was produced to move through the connected living spaces and up the staircase, giving a sense of scale and flow that individual images can't capture on their own.

The imagery was developed from architectural plans and the interior designer's specification, working closely with the design team so the CGI matched their intended layout, materials and finishes. It was used both to confirm the design with the client and contractor, and to support marketing ahead of completion.
