Transforming a Mayfair Commercial Property: A Collaborative Vision

In the heart of Mayfair, a top international interior designer embarked on an ambitious project to convert a renovated commercial property into a world-class office development. They commissioned Charles Roberts Studios to produce a series of interior computer-generated images (CGIs) to bring their visionary concepts to life. This collaboration aimed to showcase various design options and materials, creating a compelling visual narrative for the potential client.

The Vision for a Modern Space

The designer envisioned a sleek, contemporary workspace that reflected modern business values while maintaining an air of sophistication. The goal was to create an environment that fosters employee creativity and productivity and impresses visitors and clients. To achieve this, the designer required high-quality CGIs to illustrate their ideas vividly.

Charles Roberts Studios was tasked with translating these design aspirations into visual realities. This meant focusing on aesthetics and integrating practical elements that were outside the space's functionality. By providing alternative options for each key area, the designer presented a range of possibilities for the client to consider.

Crafting the CEO's Office

The CEO's office was one of the most important components of the development. We recognised that this space needed to convey authority and professionalism, so we created several design options tailored to the executive's needs. Each option featured distinct elements that highlighted the space's versatility.

The first CGI presented a modern design with clean lines and a minimalist approach. This style incorporated rich wooden finishes and contemporary furnishings, creating a welcoming yet authoritative atmosphere. The second option took a bolder approach, introducing dramatic colour schemes and luxurious materials, incorporating accents of gold and deep navy blue to evoke a sense of prestige.

Both designs featured carefully considered layouts that ensured the office was functional and inviting. The placement of furniture, lighting, and decorative elements was meticulously crafted to promote a harmonious flow.

Elevating the Executive Bathroom

Beyond the CEO's office, the designer also wanted to elevate the executive bathroom experience. This space needed to feel indulgent and luxurious, employing natural materials that harmonised with the office's overall aesthetic. We provided various material options, including natural stones like marble, complemented by warm wooden accents.

For the bathroom design, we created several CGIs illustrating different material palettes. One option highlighted stunning white Carrara marble with subtle grey veining paired with rich walnut cabinetry. This elegant combination offered a serene and sophisticated atmosphere. Another option centred around darker materials, featuring charcoal slate contrasted with lighter wood tones, presenting a more dramatic and contemporary feel.

Exploring Textures and Shades

Understanding that textures and shades play a critical role in interior design, we presented various combinations to allow the designer to evaluate each space's overall ambience. We included different fabric choices for upholstery and window treatments, ranging from soft velvets to sleek leathers. 

The CGIs reflected the colour options and the tactile nature of the proposed materials. We created a sensory experience that would resonate with the potential client by showcasing textured wall panels alongside smooth finishes.
