Charlie Roberts is a "people person" who is strongly
dedicated to representing people who need someone to stand up
vigorously for their personal and legal rights.
Charlie was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1953, the eldest of
four children. His parents, Charles and Margarita, brought the
family to Brevard County in 1960. Charlie graduated from
Melbourne High school and attended Brevard Community college and the
University of Florida, majoring in microbiology. He received his
Bachelor of Science degree in 1978 from the University of Florida.

He entered law school attending Stetson University College of Law.
While at Stetson, Charlie was a member of the Trial Advocacy society. He
worked within the state attorney's office through a trial clinical
program. Charlie received his Juris Doctorate from Stetson
University College of Law in 1981 and began practicing of law in
1982.
Charlie is a civil attorney specializing in
personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, workers'
compensation and Social Security disability claims.
He is active in community service and belongs to several civic
groups including the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge Board of
Directors, Circles of Care Board of Directors. He is fluent in
Spanish. He was instrumental in starting the mock trial program for
the Brevard County School System.
In 1990, he was named an Outstanding Young Floridian. Charlie is a
former Brevard County Commissioner and a former member of the
Florida House of Representatives where he is best remembered for his
dedication to protecting victims' rights, injured workers' rights and
educational reform.
Charlie
is a member of the Florida Bar, the Brevard County Bar, and the
National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives
and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Academy of Florida
Trial Lawyers.
When he
is not in the office, Charlie enjoys camping, fishing and sports.
